Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School Development Project

For my thesis applied project for graduate school, I partnered with Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School in East St. Louis.  I worked with their Development Director to conduct qualitative research on the stakeholders in and around Unity for a community needs assessment. I planned and trained others to co-facilitate radical imaginative focus groups to gain a reflexive understanding of the community in East St. Louis and to co-design what Unity can do to help foster a lifelong Christian community.

This project resulted in a comprehensive community needs analysis and a strategic implementation plan for Unity to utilize in the years to follow.  The final book given to Unity is included below.  (Note: The appendix with the toolkits created for Unity is not included because of client confidentiality.)
